Mannequin Pussy is a Philadelphia-based punk and indie rock band known for their raw energy, emotional depth, and genre-blending sound. Formed in 2010 by childhood friends Marisa “Missy” Dabice and Thanasi Paul, the band has evolved from their early hardcore roots to incorporate elements of pop, noise rock, and shoegaze. The current lineup includes Dabice (vocals, guitar), Kaleen Reading (drums), Colins “Bear” Regisford (bass, vocals), and Maxine Steen (guitar, synths).

Their 2016 album Romantic received critical acclaim for its dynamic range and introspective lyrics, with standout tracks like “Pledge” and “Emotional High” . In 2019, they released Patience, an album that delved into themes of self-love and personal growth, further solidifying their place in the indie rock scene .
